A good administrative assistant knows how to do more than type a letter. Rather he
or she has a comprehensive skill set that includes
- producing a crisp, professional letter;
- proofing and/or editing a letter or document;
- formatting a document to look and ‘feel’ professional;
- expense reports and other day-to-day bookkeeping tasks;
- scheduling appointments for ‘the boss’
- taking phone messages; and most importantly
- representing the company with integrity and professionalism.
